JOE Biden has now decided to use long range missiles against Russia-obviously to escalate his
Ukrainian war and trap Trump within it. This is putting the world in greater danger by escalating the
war. In January 2025 Donald Trump will begin his second Presidency of the US. The choice of either
Donald Trump or Kamala Harris was of course determined by billions of dollars, which are an
essential element of presidential candidacy in US democracy. Those who provide the billions also
participate in developing policy and selecting apparatchiks, and so on, usually surreptitiously,
although Elon Musk is less discreet about his role.
Biden’s pretend Irish posture suggests that among the Irish-American community there are, or were,
supporters of the US Democratic Party. The measure of the defeat is so significant that it has aroused
fears in Washington and abroad that the US-led Western hegemony is under threat. Which is a period
of history that cost the lives of tens of millions and is continuing with the US-facilitated genocidal
slaughter of thousands of Palestinians. The majority are infants and women, which followed the
murder of millions in Iraq, Syria, Libya, Serbia and Afghanistan, which followed millions in Africa,
South America, which followed millions in Vietnam and Cambodia, which followed millions in
Malaysia and Indonesia, which followed millions in India, Pakistan and China, and many more.
This fear extends to US Western allies in Europe and other places, even Ireland. The Newsletter
07.11.24 reporting Trump’s victory says Claire Hanna (SDLP) said she was “gurning her eyes out on
a plane yesterday morning”. And the Belfast Telegraph reports “The Sinn Fein President declined to
say if she would accept any invitation to meet the newly elected US President”. However, the Irish
News 15.11.24 informs no problem for the 1st Minister, Michelle O’Neill, participating in an event at
Queen’s University with Hillary Clinton, who was televised watching the public murder of Gaddafi of
Libya while commentating “We came, we saw, he died”, followed by her laughter.
There is no doubt Donald Trump is a precarious individual. He authorised the assassination of
Qasem Soleimani in Iraq, a senior Iran military representative. This action breached Iraqi sovereignty
and international law, and led to missile attacks against US troops. He authorised US occupation of
Syrian oil fields and theft of Syrian oil, which continues. He is a serious critic of China, which he
projects with threats which would damage the economies of both the USA and China.
He is not an enthusiast for climate protection policies. He withdrew from the Paris Agreement which
advocates for climate protection. He agreed with Israel to recognise Jerusalem as its capital. On the
other hand, he has repeatedly promised, including during this election, “I will stop wars”, “I will end
the Ukrainian war, which never should have started”. He appointed Tulsi Gabbard as Director of
National Intelligence in his administration. She previously was a US Democrat and supported Bernie
Sanders presidential nomination. She opposed the military action against Syria, she opposed the
military interventions of Obama. Her appointment suggests the possibility of a serious shift in foreign
policy. Of this, of course, we have no guarantees, but from among his now broad support there will be
opportunity of pressure.
We should be celebrating the demise of the Biden/Harris presidency which so enthusiastically
supported the Ukraine war and genocide in Gaza and the West Bank, and increased their world
dictator strategy.
However, the majority of the world’s population is no longer willing to cooperate with the alleged ‘rules based
world order’.
According to historical experience, any monopoly comes to an end. In the current circumstances the
defeat of colonialism and development of the global south means the world has already moved on. All
attempts to isolate and control have failed. Those who were controlled require a more flexible world.
What is under threat is the continuation of the US-led dictatorship.
