As a Party we have always been in the forefront in our support for workers’ day, for which significance and action we say is not just for a day but for every day. Solidarity with the people in Middle East and all war torn countries- Welfare not Warfare-Build a World for the many not the few.
The May Day get together will take place as usual-in the 1CP premises after the march & rally

Lead up to May Day
In addition to the March and Rally in Belfast this year for the third year running a fantastic programme of events has been organised-headed up by the Belfast and District Trades Union Council and the Communist Arts Programme-supported by unions, the Belfast City Council and other organisations. The programme which was launched on the 16th of April has been produced in booklet form (available from unions and the ICTU office) and the link above. Some of the events are on the pages 12 and 13 of Unity-more will be carried next week. This includes the first event which is this Saturday.

The rally will be followed by social and music events in city centre venues.
